Episode 26 - The Wal-Mart-ian Candidate

HAH! Remember what I said about that hiatus? Man, that was a good'n.

This episode, we talk about the debate, kinda. Also there was a guy who tried to steal from Wal-Mart and stabbed himself. More stuff, I'm sure.

I've been slowly but surely moving past episodes to video form to put to YouTube. There's the reason for the sporadic updates. I'm not some sort of blogger who apologizes for not updating, I swear! There should be a new episode up this Wednesday, I swear. Hold me to it!

Episode 25- An Affair With A Sandwich

Stuff We Like - John Hodgman

Alright, so this is more Stuff Dean Likes, but still! He's a legend.

We'll be talking about the man behind the collection of total world knowledge, ex-Daily Show News Correspondent, PC Guy from those Mac commercials, John Hodgman. Truly an inspiration if you never knew about him before

If you have some scratch, head to your local bookstore and pick up Areas of My Expertise now! You won't believe how "useful" it is!

Episode 21- Chicken Fried Civil Rights

A rushed episode appears! Hearing about the decision the Supreme Court gave about same-sex marriage, we had to do a show about it!

Mike and Dean talk about the week the more conservative side of America has been having, including the Supreme Court's decisions and the Confederate flag. Also included are talks of tattoos, genetic modification, and pronouns. Don't miss it!

Also yes, that's not a typo. We had an episode for this week, but hearing the news we decided to save that for next week! It's not a typo.

Episode 19- FDA-Approved Bone Marrow

Now featuring 50% more Gerard!

This outdoorsy episode, join Gerard talk about his time working for the FDA! We also go into the culinary experience of bone marrow, KFC, and kidney stones. The last one may not be for eating, but if you're ambitious enough, we won't stop you. You won't be falling asleep at your desk on this one!

Also, please excuse the crappy quality of the audio. Unfortunately, the magic garden that we found in East Village wasn't immune to the endless droning of NYC traffic.

Episode 18- Origins Game Fair Extravaganza!

Episode 17- The Immortal Tabletopper

- The World Cup

- Tabletop games

- NASCAR

- Catfishing

- Why Reddit meetups are a bad idea

- M. Night Shyamalan

And others. Enjoy.

We'll all learn something today, if nothing else from 4 years of college.

Stuff We Like - Burgers and Necrodancing

This probably should have been uploaded earlier. Eh, better late than never.

In either case, here's the post-show from two weeks ago! Since it's Stuff We Like, we're all about Bare Burger and this new game Crypt of the Necrodancer!

Annnnd once again, I'm hungry. Great. I wonder if you can Sodastream a burger...

Episode 15- Death and Love in Kokomo

Aruba, Jamaica, ooh I wanna take ya...

This episode we start off with a little bit on Brian Wilson and things head... south. Like, gory anime girls, preachy evangelicals on trains, and the darker side of immortality kind of dark. Not really news this week, so you'll need to look elsewhere. It just didn't come up is all!

But hey, Dean saw Age of Adeline, so there's that! There's also some hot dragon-on-truck action, too!

Stuff We Like- May KOL Edition!

So hey, to generate a little more regularity during the week, I'll post the post-shows as their own entries. CooL? Cool.

Since it's the first of the month, we're talking about The Kingdom of Loathing! Right now, we're on about The Portable Mayo Clinic! Also, do we still have time for this? Do we need to retire? Find out in this blurb!

Episode 14- Potholes and Dildo Urns Are a Riot

This is an introduction.

This week in Gentleman Dog Portrait, we learn that Mike can't cough away from the microphone and Dean doesn't know the titles of movies.

Oh yeah, and we talk about what you can do with your ashes that might relieve your widow, Wanksy, and if we actually need to listen to movie critics.

RESPECT THE ROBOT

Episode 13- Tech Support Teratoma

Mike & Dean are at it again!

This episode, we discuss building a computer versus buying what is actually needed, the politics of Michael Jackson's death in other countries, our teeth, and competitive eating. A variety yes, but it all ties together somehow.

Episode 12- An Online Relationship with Caffeine and Hot Sauce

Back again with 50% more co-hosts! That means 3 hosts for this show!

Join Dean, Gerard, and Anthony as we delve into why an online relationship would end in assault, which states should be ejected from the union, Anthony's quest for the hottest Doritos, and so many more! This one's a doozy, people!

On Stuff We Like, we start with a couple of stories about parents, and it jumps all over the place. Full of anecdotes!

Episode 11- Is Actually Stuff We Like Now With Dylan

Dylan has joined the party!

You might notice that the episode this week is shorter. And there's no post-show. Surprise, Dean screwed up! After recording for 45 minutes, Dean noticed the program was set to the internal microphone and not the good microphone he usually uses, so it was scrapped. Strapped for time and armed with only a dying laptop, he recorded a post-show with a new host, Dylan, and threw this together! May as well have something to show for driving out to a new place!

What's the episode about then? Well, we threw out the news and didn't attempt to save the project (refer to Episode 4 as to why that would a terrible idea) and Dylan got to talk Billie Holiday (who would have been 100 this week!), jazz music in general, and his music history! Quite insightful stuff, I must say.

Also, the background music that sounds like the world is shaking? We were outside for once. Smell that fresh air man, snow is finally gone!

Episode 10: Finally Using That Second Digit

It's a big day for GDP! 10 episodes! Only 90 more episodes until we reach the next benchmark!

In this episode, we discuss Justin Bieber's hatred towards cab drivers, Dean shares his latest story of the homeless on the subway (of which, I think we should write a survival guide), and we discuss the viability of having hot cocoa in a post-apocalyptic future using an old Italian woman as evidence! The results are pretty dang unfortunate.

In our post-show rave sesh, Stuff We Like, it's the first of the month! That means it's a KoL-based show! We're going to discuss the new charter for Dinseylandfill, PvP, and Mike's new project to rival bumcheekcity's profile service!

Also, I apologize in advance for this...
